Developmental psychology is perhaps one of the most constantly researched subjects under human psychology. The human brain is an amazing faculty of the human body. Filled with a million throbbing neurons and nerve fibers, it is constantly a source of thoughts, ideas and though process, with or without an external stimuli. A child’s brain is like a clean slate without the impact of social influence. However as the child grows up, the influence of the world creeps in and the child starts thinking in terms of a set pattern, which gradually becomes hardened and difficult to undo.In keeping with the set developmental changes that a child must achieve in the process of growth, there are tests devised by psychologists. These tests gauge whether the child is growing up normally or not. The tests also have a code and a rating scale by which a parent can frame a psychological report of the child’s state of mind. There are personality development tests to determine whether the child is an introvert or not.
